The plastic fantastic rocking chair.
A development of the Eames DAR - the world’s first plastic, mass-produced chair designed for a 1948 competition to create low cost furniture - the Eames RAR rocking chair is an absolute delight. The DAR is known as the “Eiffel” chair because of the resemblance of its metal frame to the Paris landmark, but the RAR replaces this structure with black coated stainless steel and black stained beech rockers. The use of bright, bold plastics to create a highly relevant style of modern furniture to suit any style and room. A strong yet flexible back and a deep seat pocket that means you can use it comfortably for hours at a time.
Add a splash of colour to your interiors with the orange RAR, accented by contrasting black legs and runners. Other colours are available along with a range of minimal tones.
