Simple elegance that helped to define Danish design.
The PK22 Chair, designed in 1956 by Poul Kjærholm, was inspired by the light, elegant Klismos chair created by the ancient Greeks. Much of Poul Kjaerholm's furniture was intended for his own home, located north of Copenhagen and therefore is regarded as iconically Danish. By using a simple stainless steel frame, the chair is incredibly sturdy whilst maintaining it's minimalistic design. A touch of functional elegance is added with the full grain Italian leather seat which is hard wearing, easy to clean and incredibly beautiful.
As with all things Danish, the PK22 Chair transcends trends and fads to become a staple piece of homeware that grows with your interior.
