The PK31 Armchair by Poul Kjaerholm was designed in 1958. It's a prime example of Kjærholm's ability to create furniture that can be tailored to a room and still keep the identity of the single piece of furniture. The PK31 chair is, in other words, a self-contained freestanding object and a realisation of Kjærholm's quest to find the perfect chair form. The chair combines simple luxury with comfort in the ultimate Danish way.
